Civitech’s technology played a huge role in registering young voters with Up to Us, an organization made up of young techies motivated to create civic change. Up to Us conducted social media campaigns that pushed people to check their voter registration status and get them the right information to register to vote.
We provided Up to Us the resources to register voters. Civitech sent users printed, pre-paid application forms to apply for mail-in ballots.
Up to Us Founder Conor Sanchez-O’Shea says he hopes the efforts will yield “100,000 registration status checks and a couple thousand ballot applications.”
