Chris Porter is a seasoned database architect whose career is distinguished by an unwavering commitment to excellence in enterprise data architecture, database development and administration, product management, and data governance and security. With a professional career spanning over two decades, Chris has led cross-functional teams in designing, architecting, and implementing complex software and database projects.

As the Vice President of Engineering at Civitech, Chris leads the software engineering teams in developing and deploying scalable, high-performance technical solutions tailored to fulfill our clients' requirements and advance our company's objectives.

His experience includes a significant tenure at NGP VAN/EveryAction/Bonterra, where Chris managed the Data Development, Data Services, Database Administration, and Data Engineering departments. Throughout his career, Chris has been instrumental in building and architecting multiple iterations of software solutions, primarily serving Democratic political clients and other progressive non-profits.
