I just received a Civitech mailer, what gives?
You likely received our voter registration mailer because our systems identified you as an unregistered voter at your current address, and voter registration outreach is in progress in your district.
While this mailer is intended to encourage you to register to vote, you are not required to take any action. Please note that we are not implying you are eligible to vote, only that you appear to be unregistered based on available data.

Yes! As part of our mission to build a fairer, more equitable democracy, we pre-fill information in the forms we send to help remove barriers that can make the registration process confusing or difficult. In places where it is allowed, this pre-filled info makes it even easier for people to get registered. We also have the tools and expertise to send highly personalized, one-to-one outreach, which sets our program apart from other voter registration efforts.
Do you only send these to Democrats?
We make informed decisions on who receives registration mailers based on advanced partisan modeling and behavioral data. The information we gather is then used to “score” potential voters on a scale that determines whether they’re likely to align their vote with Democratic candidates. Many of the people we reach are not registered Democrats, but they are scored as being likely to vote for a Democratic or progressive candidate.
